\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe institutional site of the Interdepartmental Center of Veterinary Radiology Services <\/strong>was designed and built in compliance with the accessibility requirements for public administration websites provided for by the “Stanca” law<\/a> n.4 \/ 2004 “Provisions to facilitate the access of disabled people to IT tools” and from WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines<\/a> \u201cWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines\u201d of the W3C International Consortium.\n\nIn creating the new portal, utmost care was taken to ensure that the information and services are usable on different browsers, on various platforms and devices and through assistive technologies.\n\nThe portal can also be consulted via smartphone and tablet: thanks to the Responsive Web Design technique, a single graphic theme has been created capable of implementing three distinct versions of the portal (smartphone, tablet and desktop) to be provided according to the characteristics of the device with which is accessed.\n\nTo make the most of the features of current and future mobile devices, the use of HTML5 and CSS3 has been favored thanks to the use of advanced and dynamic features: where possible, an adaptation process is underway to achieve compliance with W3C validation.\n

\n\nThe colors used in the portal allow sufficient contrast between foreground and background text.\n\nThe text is all resizable through the browser options without the aid of assistive technologies and without loss of content and functionality: however there are few cases of overlapping of elements with the use of old and outdated browsers, which do not however preclude the access to information and navigation.\n
